Computing is an important part of the curriculum. Your children are growing up in a world where computers are an essential part of life. Therefore, as with pencils and paint, they will learn to use this technology confidently and independently experiencing a wide range of software that encompasses Music, English, Art & Design and Maths. This computer work develops and enhances their ability to reason, problem solve and co-operate, whilst building confidence and agility in keyboard and ‘mouse’ skills. Children will also have opportunities to access the Internet and use e-mail. Technology today incorporates much more than just computers and the children will experience digital photography, using recording equipment, data loggers and programmable toys to enhance their learning across the curriculum.
