The final day of activities started with a hearty breakfast of bacon, scrambled egg and beans. Activities for the day included more zip wire, crate stacking and angry bird archery.
Lunch was a selection of sandwiches and tortilla wraps.
The activities continued into the afternoon – more angry birds!
In the evening the children went up to the three crosses on the hill and the instructors from Lee Abbey lit a bonfire and the children had toasted marshmallows. A spot of star gazing was in order due to the clear skies. The children were able to see some constellations including the plough. They even saw some satellites crossing the night sky.
The children slept well again (and so did the adults).
This morning the children are having croissants for breakfast before clearing out their dormitories and packing their cases ready for the trip home.
We are expecting the children back between 2.30 and 3.00pm but we will keep you up to date with any changes to their estimated time of arrival.
