We spent a lovely morning finding out about sustainable technology.
We then went for a walk to a proposed wind turbine site and found loads of snow to play in! The drifts were so deep that they came up to Miss Keates’ hips!
Lovely homemade flapjack for lunch – almost as good as the one from the school kitchen!
After a walk in the hip high snow (have a look at the photos in the Gallery!) we went to a farm in the afternoon and saw turkeys, chickens, ducks and Indian running ducks. We fed the chickens and the pigs – the sow had piglets. We saw sheep and lambs and found out how sheep stay dry and warm in the winter.
In the evening we had a campfire and toasted marshmallows and played games before hot chocolate and bed.
