Welcome back to Term 4
We had a wonderful term learning about people who help us. The children were excited to have a visit from the fire service, a 999 call handler and a lady who looks after ex race horses. The children were very well behaved and asked some super questions. The children also enjoyed talking about what they want to be when they grow up. Please come and have a look in the classroom as we have displayed their future job ambitions on clouds hung on the washing line!
In PE the children have been exploring the apparatus and travelling over, under and through. We have some very confident climbers in Wren class as you can see from the photographs below.
The rain didn’t stop Wren class from enjoying a welly walk to the woods! We put on our welly boots and our waterproofs and enjoyed jumping in the muddy puddles!
This term we have also enjoyed baking. We have used real life maths to weigh and measure the ingredients. We hope the children enjoyed eating them? The cup cakes looked delicious!
Next term our topic will be ‘Story Time’ and we will be reading lots of traditional stories and some new stories too. We have put up a stage in our role-play corner and will be encouraging the children to act out stories, make programmes and write their own stories to act out.
Don’t forget that you can join us for stay and play on a Friday morning from 8.35 – 9.15
