Welcome to Wrens class page.
Welcome to all the new children and some familiar faces too!
We have an exciting term planned learning all about ourselves and our families. We will also be completing artwork linked to nursery rhymes that we have been singing in class.
The children have made an excellent start to school life at Redland. We also can’t believe how much our Year 1 children have grown over the summer and have been impressed with their attititude to learning and how kind and helpful they have been with the new children.
Our PE day is Tuesday so the children will need to come to school in their PE kits they can then wear their PE kit for the whole day.
With the unpredictable weather please can you ensure that your child has a coat. We will be visiting the woods weekly and we have some outdoor forest school sessions planned so please can you ensure that your child has a pair of wellies which they can leave in school if they want to. We have two sets of puddle suits in school that the children can wear in wet weather.
Some children have already had birthdays since starting school. At Redland the children are allowed to wear their own clothes on their birthday then everyone can wish them a very happy birthday! Please can you not bring in sweets or cakes when it is your child’s birthday.
If you have any questions or worries then grab us for a quick chat at the beginning or end of the day. For longer conversations please message us on Tapestry, ring or send an email to the school. We will try and get back to you as soon as possible.
