Welcome to Starlings!

Welcome to Starlings, our Year 1 class. This term we will be learning all about London Landmarks! This is such a fun DT topic; we will be studying the most famous landmarks and testing materials before creating our own mini versions!

Key information:

In Term 5, PE will be on Fridays. We will also have outdoor learning on Monday mornings. Children will need to come into school in their PE kit on Fridays and suitable outdoor learning clothes on a Monday.
We will try to get out to the woods each week so please make sure that your child always has a warm, waterproof coat and wellies in school.
Children will have weekly spellings to practice at home.
Please continue to read with your child at home. Each week, children will come home with a new phonics book and they will also be able to choose a book from our library in addition to this.
