Term 1

It’s been a wonderful start to the year! The Puffins have settle in quickly and are already gelling beautifully – I can tell it’s going to be a great year! All of our families are joined to our Class Dojo – make sure you keep checking on this page updates on what we’ve been getting up to!

This term’s topic is ‘Healthy Lunchboxes’ and has a Design Technology focus. Take a look at our curriculum letter below to find out more.

Key information:

PE days will be on a Wednesdays and Fridays when children can come into school in their PE kit. Please can children wear a plain white t-shirt and black/navy shorts (no football strips please). When the weather is cold, children may also want to wear a sweatshirt and jogging bottoms too.
We don’t have outdoor learning this term.
By the end of term 1, children will have a KIRFs target and these will be tested on a Friday.
Children will have weekly spellings. These will be tested on a Tuesday.
Please try to read regularly at home, encouraging a love for reading and books (of all type and genre) creates strong learning foundations.
