TERM 2

A very warm welcome to Kingfishers’ Class Page.

We hope you had a restful half term.  We are looking forward to an exciting and busy term 2! 

Make sure you keep checking on this page and our Class Dojo for updates on what we’ve been getting up to.

This term, our topic is a historical one, ‘The Maya Civilisation’.  We will be learning about their religion, their Gods and their everyday life. It will also link to our writing as we use ‘The Chocolate Tree’ as a stimulus.  We also are very excited to link our topic to our trip to Cadbury World where we will have a workshop talk on the Mayans and their involvement in the history of cocoa.  Take a look at our curriculum letter to find out more.

The year 6s will also start their fund raising for their end of year trip with a cake sale on Thursday 13th November. Details of this will be sent out during our first week back.
